About Me
Hi, I’m Whitney, an Occupational Therapist, artist, and the founder of WEE Occupational Therapy—a creative space for healing, empowerment, and transformation.
I began my OT career in 2019, just one month before a near-fatal motor vehicle accident completely changed the course of my life. I sustained a fractured sternum, a T12 compression fracture, deep forehead and scalp lacerations, embedded glass, and underwent emergency cervical fusion surgery to stabilize C6-7. I’ve also lived with chronic nerve pain on my left side ever since.
That trauma became a turning point—a catalyst for deep self-discovery. I’ve spent years rebuilding not just my physical body, but also my identity. I’ve navigated lifelong anxiety and depression, and in 2024, finally received a diagnosis of ADHD—bringing clarity to years of inner struggle. My healing has included therapy, medication management, creative exploration, and a fierce commitment to reclaiming joy, movement, and meaning in my life.
I’ve returned to hiking, snowboarding, fitness, and the parts of myself I thought I lost. I’ve also experienced hair loss, and learning to wear wigs has become part of my journey in redefining beauty and finding confidence in a new form.
Through all of this, I’ve developed a deep passion for working at the intersections of neurodivergence, trauma recovery, chronic pain, women’s health, and identity. My practice is rooted in science, creativity, and lived experience. I specialize in upper extremity rehab and nerve recovery, but my work extends far beyond the physical. I believe healing happens when we reconnect with what makes life meaningful.
At WEE OT, I bring all of these pieces together—offering a blend of traditional therapy, expressive healing, nervous system education, and community connection. Whether you’re living with chronic illness, navigating ADHD or anxiety, recovering from injury, or rediscovering who you are—I’m here to walk with you.
This is more than therapy. It’s a space to empower, overachieve, and transform.
