About

Established in 2025

Welcome to WEE Occupational Therapy

We Empower, Overachieve, and Evolve—through movement, creativity, and story.

I’m Whitney, an occupational therapist, trauma survivor, and late-diagnosed ADHDer.

WEE OT is my creative and clinical home.

It’s a space where occupational therapy blends with personal story, progressive healing, and embodied empowerment.

I specialize in upper extremity rehab—but that’s just the beginning.

Here, OT expands into something more:
🌀 A nervous system approach.
🎨 A creative outlet.
🏔️ A place to reclaim meaning and identity.
🥊 A movement-forward path for neurodivergent, chronically ill, and trauma-impacted humans ready to heal on their own terms.

WEE OT was born from my recovery—a near-fatal car accident, chronic nerve pain, hair loss, identity loss, talk therapy, medication, and Muay Thai. It’s where I learned that participation isn’t just function—it’s joy, connection, you.

Let’s rebuild what was lost. Let’s create something new.

Core Themes + Vibe

  • Empowerment through Expression: Therapy that isn’t just functional—it’s expressive, soulful, and real.
  • Lived Experience as Expertise: Your own journey adds depth, relatability, and authenticity to every interaction.
  • Neurodiversity-Affirming: ADHD, anxiety, trauma—all held with compassion and curiosity, not pathologized.
  • Creative Healing: Art, music, journaling, storytelling integrated into services.
  • Nature + Movement: Hiking, snowboarding, fitness—bringing the outdoors and embodiment into the healing process.

Vision

To empower healing that moves — through body, mind, creativity, and story.
WEE Occupational Therapy exists at the intersection of trauma recovery, neurodivergent identity, creative expression, and holistic health.
We honor complexity. We restore dignity. We make space for the truth — even the messy parts.
We believe:
Healing is nonlinear — and that’s okay.
Movement is medicine. So is music. So is rest.
Creativity is a birthright, not a luxury.
Women’s health deserves to be seen in its full hormonal, neurological, and emotional depth.
ADHD doesn’t make you broken — it makes you brilliantly unique.
Lived experience is clinical expertise.
Your story matters.
We don’t fix people. We help them find their way back to themselves.
WEE stands for We Empower, Overachieve, and Evolve — because that’s what healing really is.
And it’s also the initials of a woman who almost didn’t make it — but did.

Mission

WEE Occupational Therapy — Dream + Direction

“At WEE Occupational Therapy, we empower individuals—especially those navigating neurodivergence, trauma, and personal transformation—to reclaim their identities, reconnect with meaningful activity, and rewrite the story of their lives through creativity, compassion, and community.”

Values

1. Empowerment Through Expression
We believe every person holds the power to heal when given the tools, time, and space to express themselves. Whether through movement, words, art, or silence — your voice matters. We don’t just treat symptoms; we nurture stories.
2. Lived Experience is Expertise
We honor the value of personal experience. Our work is informed not just by education and evidence, but by survival, setbacks, neurodivergence, and resilience. Healing isn’t theoretical here — it’s personal.
3. Neurodivergent-Affirming Care
We reject outdated narratives that label difference as deficiency. We work with — not against — the ADHD brain, celebrating its creativity, intensity, and intuition. We meet clients where they are, not where the world tells them they “should” be.
4. Whole Body, Whole Person
We address the intricate connections between mental health, hormonal balance, chronic pain, trauma, and nervous system health — especially in women and those with marginalized identities. We believe in treating the person, not just the part.
5. Creativity is Medicine
Art, music, photography, food, movement — these aren’t hobbies; they’re survival tools. We use creativity to reconnect clients with their joy, purpose, and self-worth. Healing isn’t linear. It’s expressive.
6. Movement is Healing
From Muay Thai to mountains, movement is how we reclaim strength, identity, and agency. We promote safe, meaningful physical activity not as punishment, but as a way back into the body after trauma.
7. Rest is Resistance
Burnout isn’t a badge of honor. We challenge grind culture and embrace rest as a radical act of healing. Productivity does not equal worth.
8. Community Over Perfection
Healing is not about getting it “right” — it’s about being real. We foster spaces where imperfection is not only accepted but celebrated. You don’t have to hold it all together to belong here.
